After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you are met by an Extreme Adventures guide and transferred to the historic Norfolk Hotel to relax for the remainder of the day.
Norfolk Hotel- Day 2
- Nairobi/Lewa Downs/Nandanguru Plain
Early this morning, fly to the northern bush airstrip of Lewa Downs, the gateway to the Laikipia Plateau and the Northern Frontier. Meet your expedition guide and Kerukki tribesmen at Nandanguru Plain and begin trekking through the Northern Frontier tribal lands.

Experience the region's amazing diversity of ecosystems on foot and on camel back. Your camp moves with you as you delve deeper into the bush. Learn tracking techniques and other vital bush skills, as well as how to identify and understand the behavior of the animals and plants of the region. You have an unrivalled opportunity to interact with the local nomadic morani (Maasai warriors) and to gain insight into the little-understood traditional Maasai and Samburu customs.

Fly back to Nairobi and head to Carnivore for lunch. A dayroom is reserved at the Norfolk for your use until your international flight this evening.
